You can have the most beautiful design and the tightest code.
But without words, your product
won’t work.

I write UX copy that powers products and drives user experiences.

Your product is where your conversation with your users happens.

Think about it: They fill out a field; the app responds (on your behalf). They press a button; the platform responds. Back and forth, over and over, all day, every day.

This is what speaking to your customers looks like in the 2020s.

Investing in UX writing is worth it if you want to…

  • Solidify your brand voice

  • Shine the spotlight on what makes you different

  • Develop a relationship between you and your users

  • Engage and retain users

  • Provide a top-notch user experience

  • Reduce support tickets (because everything’s clear)

 Just ask them:

Effective UX writing brings together:

  • Voice & Tone

What you’re saying (mission, values, etc.) and how you’re saying it (style, terminology, etc.)

  • Flow

A clear understanding of the actual journey your users take through your product

  • The Right Words

Clear, concise UX copy that engages, delights, and informs users every step of the way

Here’s how it works:

  • We talk.

We start out with a kick-off call and go deep. I’ll ask lots of questions about your vision, values, users, and the relationship you see yourself having with them.

  • I create the voice and tone style guide.

My team and I craft part 1 of the 2-part guide, which crystallizes the values and messaging and defines the product’s tone and its relationship with the users.

  • You give me the full tour of the product.

We go through the entire flow—I mean every single screen. I ask questions to understand how the user “enters” and “exits” each screen and what happens if they hit a wall.

  • I write. (You do your thang.)

My team and I write the copy and put together part 2 of the voice and tone style guide, which covers mechanics and rules for different components.

  • You review. I perfect.

I send it over (or put it all in Figma). You, your stakeholders, and maybe some lucky users review it. I make edits based on the feedback.

  • That's a wrap!

Your design and development + my words = A product that makes us both proud and makes users happy ✨

Creating a great product is in the small details. While most companies focus on the design, they often neglect the microcopy and messaging. Merav helped us take our product to the next level, from adjusting existing texts within the app to refining how we communicate the main features.

– Iris Shoor, Oribi

The MeravWrites team asked all the right questions and were able to come up with copy that was much clearer, friendlier, and more engaging, while avoiding "legalese" and preventing user friction. I’ve gotten fantastic feedback from my team about the incredible impact the microcopy has made on our product. Thank you so much!

– Liat Abadi, Lexense

We had worked with Merav a few years ago, and we reached out to her again when it was time for our product to undergo a full facelift. Merav worked closely with our team of about 15 people (product managers, designers, and UX researchers) to make all the different areas of our product copy more cohesive, more user-friendly, and less technical, while also leading us to come up with rules and guidelines for consistency and clarity. She didn't just "fill in the blanks" with clearer, more intuitive copy but also challenged us to think about the flow, users' concerns, and the overall experience.
